How to Lose Weight By Snoopy055
Eat healthy meals to lose weight, while eating to lose weight does not sound right it is really the only way to stay healthy and lose weight. According to the Veterans Administration almost 70 per cent of the USA is over weight or obese. Most of us think fad diets and exercises are the way to lose weight. We need to learn the facts about dieting before going on any diet plan.
Excess fats stored in your body can lead to diabetes, cancer, heart
problems, and more according to an online report done by Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) found that using low carb diets you will lose weight but it will be short lived. They also found that the 429 users reported problems with constipation, loss of energy, bad breath, kidney problems, and gall stones to name a few

Depriving your body of the nutrients it needs may lead to diabetes, kidney failure, heart attacks, stomach problems, and even chronic bad breath. These are just a few of the issues caused by the body not getting all the nutrients it
needs to stay healthy. Also when your body realizes that it is not getting what it needs it will go into a preservation mode and start storing your food intake in the form of fat to be used to sustain itself.
Discover How to Quickly Lose Weight. To get rid of this fat you have to eat right to speed up your metabolism and burn that fat. Eating healthy and often along with some exercise that increases your heart rate will burn this fat. Exercise does not have to be intense, but it does have to increase the heart rate. Eating right speeds up the metabolism, exercises tone the muscles and the two together burns the excess fat your body is storing. Maximize Your Metabolism copy and paste this http://2dbd2jxjrb0xav354k6afk8v1r.hop.clickbank.net/
With so many different ways to get exercise it is a challenge to decide which one to use
. While there is no secret exercise which will benefit any one certain body part all exercises benefit the whole body. You should pick any exercise that increases your heart rate a little. If you are just a little over weight and consider yourself in shape then go for some aggressive exercises. If you are more of a couch potato then a brisk walk or walking up and down a flight of stairs might be more suited to you. Even an evening out dancing may give you all the exercise you need. When you eat, your brain releases hormones into your bloodstream that control two bodily functions, fat burning and fat storage. So eating foods that are healthy at the right time controls how you lose or gain weight. If the food intake is varied enough your metabolic rate will be working at a high level and burn some excess fat that is stored in your body.
You have probably seen many other people battle weight problems with no success. They have tried many different diets which had bad results. Some have developed diabetes, cancer, and even heart attacks from not eating healthy foods while dieting. Every one needs to eat healthy foods whether they are over weight or not. Even the people who look slim and trim may have health risks by not eating healthy foods.
Do not diet until you know the facts about dieting http://snoopys-store.com has some facts about dieting.

A Diet Myth Revealed

Not Eating to Lose Weight – A Diet Myth Revealed
Not eating to lose weight can be very dangerous and unhealthy for your body, and can produce the exact opposite effect on your body. Many people believe that the quickest way to shed the pounds is to simply stop eating. They think that if they stop putting food and calories into their body that the pounds will just fall off. OK, I can see the logic they are trying to use with this formula but nothing could be farther from the truth.
Here’s why not eating to lose weight simply WILL NOT WORK:
Start eating and start living with the Diet Solution Recipes.
If diets were as simple as not eating to lose weight, then weight loss products would not be a multi-billion dollar a year market. Fasting and then GAINING WEIGHT back a few days later causing a yo-yo effect on your body will actually make it harder for you to ever reach your goal weight. If you start to fast for a day, you will probably begin losing weight almost immediately. Unfortunately, 95% of the weight that you lose will be comprised of water weight as fluids are released from the body. This water weight can come off of your weight rather quickly but as soon as you begin eating again it is all gained back quickly also.
Not eating to lose weight will cause your body to automatically go into what is known as starvation mode. This happens when your body notices that it is not getting enough food and triggers your body to begin storing fat for later use. So as you are not eating to lose weight your body is actually retaining MORE FAT cells. To produce energy, your body will first begin to burn muscle protein. Only when this muscle protein can longer be burned will your body start to burn fat and by then you will be very sick.
Do not diet until you know the facts about dieting some of the facts can be found at http://snoopys-store.com
Starvation mode will also drastically lower your metabolism rate as it tries to conserve energy. Once you start to eat again this low metabolism rate will burn calories at a much slower rate and make it harder for your body keep the pounds off.
15 ways to Speed up Your Metabolism
If you start not eating to lose weight, you will begin to see several health problems start to arise. You will feel weak and tired as your body is not producing a sufficient amount of energy. This lack of energy is certain to promote a reduced activity level which will also add to weight gain. You will also become sick and pale because your body is not getting enough daily nutrients and vitamins.
Not eating to lose weight is the worst solution for weight loss that you could choose. Not only will you not lose weight this way but you put your health in danger. Low carb. diets are very dangerous to your health.
Studies have proven that if you lose weight in a slow and steady manner, you are much more likely to permanently keep it off. You should aim to lose an average of one to two pounds per week. A well-balanced diet, which consists of NO LESS than 1200 calories per day, should be followed. Adding a cardio activity three to five days a week will greatly increase your ability to lose weight. Be smart and stick to a healthy weight loss plan and you will be able to lose the weight you want.

Employers and New Years Resolutions
As each New Year comes along people make resolutions to lose weight and be more active. A little more exercise to get toned up. But they seldom continue with the ideas for many different reasons. Maybe due to not seeing a fast enough change, not getting support or feeling starved due to not eating healthy.
Employers could help them with their goals by giving them a break time for a short but fast paced walk even to walk up and down a flight of stairs. This not only encourages exercises, it gives them a break from work which is needed to get a fresh start with clearer thinking.
Employees’ work and health balance will increase the bottom line of the business or workplace. Employers should encourage a work-health balance to keep employees well being. A healthy worker is much more productive than one that is not doing their best due to thinking of their health issues.
If a worker is concerned about a health issue it may cause them to have an accident, due to not giving the job all their attention. When someone is thinking I’m fat and need to do something about it, they are not doing their best work. They are preoccupied by how to get in shape, subconsciously getting in shape is first and foremost on their mind. This can lead to an accident and disability claims.
Disability claims in this day and age are high and may be in access of $15,000 annually. Obesity claims last up to 2 months longer than the recovery for a more fit person. The workplace should have an effective wellness plan which encourages everyone to get fit and stay fit. This would save the business a great deal of money and time missed due to health problems.
By reducing or rotating excessive workloads and employer will gain more respect from the employees and they inturn will be more productive. The same is true about allowing time to attend professional classes on getting and staying fit. Employers can gain a more healthy workforce just by giving the workers a paid pass to a gym class.
Employers should lead by example, they should be the first to get fit or quit smoking. They could start by furnishing some healthy snacks or fruits for the workers. Even company meetings could have healthy drinks and fruits instead of rolls or doughnuts.
Smokers should be encouraged to quit. Most work places now are smoke free and the employee that is craving a cigarette is not giving their all to the job they are paid to do. Smokers tend to be more short of breath and if they have an excessive work load they most likely take an extra amount of time doing it. Thus the bottom line for the workplace is smaller.
Obesity, smoking and non healthy workers cost the business world millions of dollars every year. As an employer you should be taking every opportunity to encourage all the work force to get healthy and stay healthy. You should set the example and take a few extra steps to get your workers on the way to a healthy body. Healthy employees lead to increased productivity and decreased disability claims
Employers are the key to getting a healthy work force and keeping them healthy. They alone are responsible for the bottom line of the company. Keeping a fit and healthy work force is one of the best cost saving plans they can have. Having programs run by the staff is maybe one of the easiest programs they could have. The staff is more likely to know the workers problems and be able to address them more accurately.

Dangers of Low Carb Diets
An outline of the report by
The Nutrition Committee of the Council on Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Metabolism of the American Heart Association states, “High protein diets are not recommended because they restrict healthful foods that provide essential nutrients and do not provide the variety of foods needed to adequately meet nutritional needs. Individuals who follow these diets are therefore at risk for compromised vitamin and mineral intake, as well as potential cardiac, renal, bone, and liver abnormalities overall.”
While a few recent studies have noted that high protein, low carb diets will get short-term weight loss. Diets high in saturated fat, are associated with risk of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Diets high in meat protein have been known to increase the risk of kidney problems, osteoporosis, and some cancers.
Because high fiber is found only in foods made from plants. high protein, high fat, low carb diets tend to be low in fiber. Low fiber intake can lead to colon cancer and heart disease, diabetes, and constipation.
High protein, low carb, diets cause the body to induce ketosis, which is also in uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and starvation. When carbohydrate intake is insufficient to provide glucose to the cells that rely on it as an energy source. Ketone bodies are formed from fatty acids. An increase in ketones can upset the body’s acid balance, causing acidosis. Even mild acidosis can have bad results, including low blood phosphate levels, loss of calcium from bones, high risk of osteoporosis, and a higher risk of forming kidney stones.
Diets having, high-protein, high fat, low fiber, low carbs, when used, are causing a risk of diseases and health problems, despite the loss of weight that might happen with their use.

Fitness Matters: Enjoy journey and experience
From www.rochestermn.com by Shelly Greenfield
addthis_pub = ‘sngii’; addthis_brand = ‘Post Bulletin’;
This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to compete again in the Fitness America Pageant in Las Vegas.
There were hundreds of beautiful fit ladies, nearly 600 competitors this
year.
With divisions of fitness, bikini, figure, model, and muscle, women from all over the world came to show their amazing physiques hoping to take home a trophy for all their hard efforts and preparation.
I wish I could say I came home with a trophy, but I can’t. Am I disappointed? You bet I am, but I have to keep it all in perspective. I competed in two categories, bikini classic which is divided by age, 35-44 years old, and looking for a soft, lean fit body, and the figure classic that is a more defined physique but still feminine.
I have to say, I have never seen so many amazing figures all in one place!
Most of us are busy mommies, with careers, hobbies, and excruciating schedules, but manage to put it all together to pursue a passion. It becomes a sisterhood like no other.
We all know the dedication, commitment, and sacrifice it takes to get in the best shape of your life.
There is a place for everyone here, and there can only be one winner, and five ladies in the top five. Even if we don’t make those top spots, what matters is that we gave it our all, and we are our own personal best. By exceeding our own previous level of fitness, we walk away as winners, whether there is a trophy in hand or not.
A subjective sport is tough on the ego and the heart, but what I take away from this experience is what I tell my own clients: “enjoy the journey and the experience.”
We can all relate to that. Whether you are just beginning to pursue your fitness goals or in the heart of it all, you have to see it as a journey. There really is no ending to getting fit. You will have goals along the way, but there will never be an ending. Once you get to where you think you want to be, it’s time to set another goal, whether that is maintenance or another level bove where you are.
Health and fitness is a path, with some destinations and stops along the way. Sometimes there are detours, like family issues, health issues, injuries, etc, that slow you down. Dealing with what is in front of you, and getting back on track as soon as you can will help you maintain your focus.
I know for me, I had some over training issues and needed to take some downtime to let my body recover by getting rest, eating a well balanced clean diet, drinking plenty of water,
and getting deep tissue massages. Taking time off was essential to get past this, but I also knew I was on a tight timeline and felt the pressure to get all my workouts in.
Others had much more serious setbacks. One competitor had the news two weeks ago that her
cancer had come back, but she chose to press on with her passion and deal with the medical issues when she returns home. She is a woman of utter strength and mental toughness.
So the journey continues, and we all return home, and keep working at becoming our personal best. Take pride in what you accomplish with whatever obstacles you may have.

Avoiding Major Medical Expenses
Get the Right Insurance Cover and Avoid Huge Bills
By Andy Ryan
If you are looking for affordable health insurance the best thing you can do is to search on the internet. Some people are lucky and are covered by their employer who gives them discounted insurance to cover their needs and avoid major medical expenses.
Many other people are not so lucky though and have to work hard to cover their medical insurance each month and this is why a lot of people skip paying their bills, hoping they will not become ill at all.
You can either pick up the phone and ring everyone in the phone book
hoping to find a cheap insurance company and face relentless sales pressure or you can look on the internet where you can find multiple quotes really quickly. No computer find one here
It is important that you have enough coverage so that you when you do need to go to hospital and seek medical assistance, you are covered and do not face major expenses.
If you are going to look for your insurance on the internet compare the cost over the same period of time, some insurers will quote strange figures to disguise the true cost of their insurance.
There are thousands or even millions of people out there who do not have any form of insurance. And most of them do not have the money to afford an expensive insurance policy.
If you are self-employed, then you understand that it is very difficult to maintain payment for
your own insurance. There is a solution though. You need to find a insurance comparison website over the internet that can help you check the different quotes from different insurance companies.
This way you can easily find out which insurance policy has the cheapest and the most affordable price. Saving you save a lot on your budget. You can also compare the policies for yourself.
Finding the right health insurance that is both affordable and cheap may seem hard since costs keep on rising but you can do it.
If you have to get your insurance privately you have to make sure that you compare the prices like-for-like. This means you need to make sure you are not just looking at the cost over the same period of time but you are also looking at the insurance cover to make sure it is right for you and avoid any major medical expenses.

Cheap Personal Health Insurance
By
Jason Region
If you’re one of those people that are like me, you don’t like paying
too much for any type of insurance, that means car insurance, health insurance, or any kind of insurance for that matter. I needed to look for cheap personal health insurance, and because I was single I didn’t have a lot of money to pay every single month. So, I began my search for cheap personal health coverage online.
And here’s what I found:
To my amazement I found that there were many companies that I have not even heard of. Whether these were subsidiaries of main corporations that we see advertised in the media I don’t know. What I do know is that I have been able to save a lot of money with a couple minutes of research that gave me cheap multiple health insurance quotes for free. (Apparently these sites have gotten together and have started a free service where are individuals who are looking for cheap personal health insurance can search and get rates without being charged.) I knew I was onto something good then.
Here is what else I found.
The pre-existing conditions are generally around the same for each insurance company in the health field, but what amazed me was how nice they were to me and how my individual personal health insurance plan was a lot more affordable than what I could have imagined. Now, looking back I realized I could have saved money all along.
Here is what I did.
1. I found sites that gave me quotes for free.
2. After I got the quotes that fit into my budget, I called each company to discuss their prescription and pre-existing conditions.
3. I found which company best fit my needs and I secured my policy.
And now, all my prescriptions are covered under the plan I was able to get through free services online.
Here is a free resource to find the Cheapest Health Insurance without having to compromise your coverage.
This is a free service dedicating to helping people save money. They only ask a couple of questions and they can give you a list of companies that do not advertise their cheap rates in less than 10 seconds.
Click Here to find out how low the rates have gotten this year.

Growing Up As a Baby Boomer
By Dennis D DeVries
I am retired and have the time to look back at how we grew up. I can now see that while keeping a busy schedule and eating often myself, my brothers and sister never had to worry about any weight problem.
At home we had a big garden which was a pain to take care of. First off having to till the ground with a shovel and plant all the seeds.
Then pulling the weeds, carrying the water to water the plants. From barrels which were placed under the rain spouts to save for the garden. Then picking the beans, peas, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, beets, and digging up the potatoes was a chore which we all hated. Never any weight loss thoughts at that time of our lives though.
Oh yes, the sweet corn patch was a whole different deal. It got planted by the farm machinery one row at a time. This was to have more than one harvest date, thus we had corn on the cob much longer than anyone else in the neighbor hood. By planting with the farm equipment it could be cultivated with the farm equipment also. This accelerated our thoughts of getting to relax a little more.
But as with cultivating a corn or bean field the grass and weeds growing in the row still had to be manually pulled or cut off. So we would walk the
fields to rid them of what the cultivator missed. This task provided the kids some spending money. If we helped the neighbors it turned into much more spending money for us. It also kept us busy all day exercising without having to go to a nonexistent exercise gym at the time. We never had to do any diets to stay slim or lose weight.
By now the hay fields were ready to harvest, attach the mower to the little John Deere and head for the field. Mow the hay down and hope for no rain for 3 days of good sunshine to dry it out which would cause the garden to need more water carried to it.
Then rake the hay into windrows and hire the neighbor to come and bale it.
He pulled a hay rack behind the baler so we would get the pleasure of stacking the bales on the moving rack. This turned out to be my job as I was the only one with balance enough to throw or stack the bales on a moving platform or hay rack. The gopher holes and uneven soil made for a bumpy ride, not to mention the hill sides. Which challenged our ability to stack the bales in a manner which tied them selves together so they would not slide off the rack. The neighbor liked my style so he hired me to ride the hay rack all summer long baling that he done. I got a penny for each bale which earned me a whopping $5.00 a day to the highest day we had was $44.00 for me. Not bad pay for a teenager, I stayed with it until I graduated from high school.
It was only when we set out on our own that weight became a problem. Eating more junk food because it was easier to prepare or more readily available to us. The fact that mom made us eat what was on the table seemed cruel to me. But looking back now was a lesson well learned by me.
I have never had any health or weight problems. Even today 50 years after getting out on my own I don’t really watch what I eat, I eat from a habit I learned earlier in life. I like the fruits and veggies I had to eat when still living with the folks (moms eat whats on the plate idea or nothing)
idea drove me to unwittingly acquire a taste for the healthy foods.Unlike my siblings whom are still fighting weight and health issues. When they left home they thought they knew more of what was good for them so they changed their eating habits. In a very short time (compared to a life time) they became obese and have been struggling with weight loss ever since. They jumped from one fad diet to another, sometimes over eating, sometimes starving them selves only to have their immune systems messed up.
They are now fighting with diabetes, stroke, and weight problems. While our parents (92 years young) and I are still healthy and slim. I do not have to take any medications at over 65 years young.
As a person who grew up in this time era, I realize the weight problems of these people and found a system that can benefit all of them with weight problems. http://snoopys-store.com
